A well known studio are looking to hire a full-time Set Build Manager to work across their studios et and managing all of the set builds and working closely with clients.
The role is very hands on and requires management of the entire set build process from providing quotes to delivering the final product.
This is a client-facing position therefore the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate client relationships to drive the department forward.
The ideal candidate can come from a background within film or theatre as well as photographic studios, the important aspects are the ability to manage the set build process and be comfortable on working on your own initiative.
The Set Build Manager has daily communication with the internal team to organise and schedule jobs. They directly manage a full time set builder and are responsible for the line management of freelance set building staff on an ad-hoc basis. Liaison with the Facilities Manager is required to ensure safety standards and procedures are adhered to.

Duties include:
• Set build both on and off site
• Producing quotes
• Scouring materials
• Budgeting and cost control
• Scheduling work and allocating resources appropriately
• Contributing creative ideas to the set build process, offering clients solutions to achieve their concepts and designs.
